About Saddlewood Pianos
The name 'Saddlewood Pianos' came about by combining the two parts of our surnames together to illustrate that we're a local, family-run business. We're based in Stockport but cover North-West England and North Wales.
We established the business in 2023 after working with pianos for several years and deciding the time was right to branch out on our own and offer a personal, high-quality service to help people make the most of their piano.
Peter is an accredited member of the Piano Tuner's Association, so you can rest assured that any work carried out is of the highest of standards. The PTA have stringent checks of their members and Peter is proud to have been assessed to such a high standard that he has been a member since 2023.

Having worked professionally as a Piano Technician across the North-West for several years, I then decided to take the opportunity to begin offering Piano services to customers myself. As an avid Piano player myself, I know the importance of making sure that what is often a much-loved instrument is kept at its best.
I've always been interested in the piano from a young age as it brings together my passion for mechanical engineering, physics and music.
Alongside my work at Saddlewood Pianos, I'm also the resident Tuner/Technician at Mark Goodwin Pianos in Oldham. This allows me to combine my enjoyment of working in a showroom with that of working out in the field in people's homes and businesses.

Neville is our retired ex-racing Greyhound and has the important job of boosting morale and keeping an eye on what's going on in the workshop (until he hears the rustling of food packets elsewhere and gets distracted!)
